Since the new procedure came into force on January 11, 2024 for member countries of the Hague Convention concerning apostilles signed by Canada, the process of authenticating and legalizing Canadian documents so that they can be recognized in Cuba for a marriage involves several distinct steps.

Please note VisapourCanada’s fees vary depending on the client’s marital status and certain notarial rules in Cuba:
• Single individuals (never married): starting at $1,185 + applicable taxes
• Divorced individuals: starting at $1,475 + applicable taxes
• Widowed individuals: starting at $1,700 + applicable taxes
💡 These rates cover our professional services. They do not include the cost of legalizing documents at the Cuban Consulate in Montreal or Toronto, which must be paid separately and directly by the client.

In addition, each file is handled on a case-by-case basis: the steps, deadlines, and requirements may vary from one client to another, whether they are single, divorced, or widowed.
